Aspertame is a definite NO NO!!!!!

This is a MUST READ for anyone and everyone!!!
Please don't disregard it because it has very important information in here that may help you or someone you love. A KILLER IN YOUR FRIDGE?! If you are wondering why you have had so many physical problems lately, you may be a victim of a sweet poison you have been ingesting for years. Do read this warning. It could save your life or at least make the quality of life a whole lot better. My wife has been a diet coke-a-hollick for years and has suffered many of the ailments noted below for which the doctors have never been able to find a cause. This may be a solution. SWEET POISON....A MUST READ! In October of 2001, my sister started getting very sick. She had stomach spasms, and she was having a hard time getting around. Walking was a major chore. It took everything she had just to get out of bed; she was in so much pain. By March 2002, she had undergone several tissue and muscle biopsies and was on 24 various prescription medications. The doctors could not determine what was wrong with her. She was in so much pain, and so sick she just knew she was dying. She put her house, bank accounts, life insurance, etc., in her oldest daughter's name, and made sure that her younger children were to be taken care of. She also wanted her last hooray, so she planned a trip to Florida (basically in a wheelchair) for March 22nd. On March 19, I called her to ask how her most recent tests went, and she said they didn't find anything on the test, but they believe she had MS. I recalled an article a friend of mine e-mailed to me, and I asked my sister if she drank diet soda. She told me that she did. As a matter of fact, she was getting ready to crack one open that moment. I told her not to open it, and to stop drinking the diet soda! I e-mailed her an article my friend, a lawyer, had sent. My sister called me within 32 hours after our phone conversation and told me she had stopped drinking the diet soda AND she could walk! The muscle spasms went away. She said she didn't feel 100%, but she sure felt a lot better. She told me she was going to her doctor with this article and would call me when she got home. Well, she called me and said her doctor was amazed! He is going to call all of his MS patients to find out if they consumed artificial sweeteners of any kind. In a nutshell, she was being poisoned by the Aspartame in the diet soda. And literally dying a slow and miserable death. When she got to Florida March 22, all she had to take was one pill, and that was a pill for the Aspartame poisoning! She is well on her way to a complete recovery. And she is walking! No wheelchair! This article saved her life. If it says 'SUGAR FREE' on the label; DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT! I have spent several days lecturing at the WORLD ENVIRONMENTAL CONFERENCE on 'ASPARTAME,' marketed as 'Nutra Sweet,' 'Equal' and 'Spoonful.' In the keynote address by the EPA, it was announced that in the United States in 2001 there is an epidemic of multiple sclerosis and systemic lupus. It was difficult to determine exactly what toxin was causing this to be rampant. I stood up and said that I was there to lecture on exactly that subject. I will explain why Aspartame is so dangerous: When the temperature of this sweetener exceeds 86 degrees F, the wood alcohol in ASPARTAME converts to formaldehyde and then to formic acid, which in turn causes metabolic acidosis. Formic acid is the poison found in the sting of fire ants. The methanol toxicity mimics, among other conditions, multiple sclerosis and systemic lupus. Many people were being diagnosed in error. Although multiple sclerosis is not a death sentence, methanol toxicity is! Systemic lupus has become almost as rampant as multiple sclerosis, especially with Diet Coke and Diet Pepsi drinkers. The victim usually does not know that the Aspartame is the culprit. He or she continues its use; irritating the lupus to such a degree that it may become a life-threatening condition. We have seen patients with systemic lupus become asymptotic, once taken off diet sodas. In cases of those diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, most of the symptoms disappear. We've seen many cases where vision loss returned and hearing loss improved markedly. This also applies to cases of tinnitus and fibromyalgia. During a lecture, I said, 'If you are using ASPARTAME (Nutra Sweet, Equal, Spoonful, etc) and you suffer from fibromyalgia symptoms, spasms, shooting pains, numbness in your legs, cramps, vertigo, dizziness, headaches, tinnitus, joint pain, unexplainable depression, anxiety attacks, slurred speech, blurred vision or memory loss, you probably have ASPARTAME poisoning!' People were jumping up during the lecture saying,'I have some of these symptoms. Is it reversible?' Yes! Yes! Yes! STOP drinking diet sodas and be alert for Aspartame on food labels! Many products are fortified with it! This is a serious problem. Dr. Espart (one of my speakers) remarked that so many people seem to be symptomatic for MS and during his recent visit to a hospice; a nurse stated that six of her friends, who were heavy Diet Coke addicts, had all been diagnosed with MS. This is beyond coincidence! Diet soda is NOT a diet product! It is a chemically altered, multiple SODIUM (salt) and ASPARTAME containing product that actually makes you crave carbohydrates. It is far more likely to make you GAIN weight! These products also contain formaldehyde, which stores in the fat cells, particularly in the hips and thighs. Formaldehyde is an absolute toxin and is used primarily to preserve 'tissue specimens.' Many products we use every day contain this chemical, but we SHOULD NOT store it IN our body! Dr. H. J. Roberts stated in his lectures that once free of the 'diet products' and with no significant increase in exercise, his patients lost an average of 19 pounds over a trial period. Aspartame is especially dangerous for diabetics. We found that some physicians, who believed that they had a patient with retinopathy, in fact, had symptoms caused by Aspartame. The Aspartame drives the blood sugar out of control. Thus diabetics may suffer acute memory loss due to the fact that aspartic acid and phenylalanine are NEUROTOXIC when taken without the other amino acids necessary for a good balance. Treating diabetes is all about BALANCE. Especially with diabetics, the Aspartame passes the blood/brain barrier, and it then deteriorates the neurons of the brain; causing various levels of brain damage, seizures, depression, manic depression, panic attacks, uncontrollable anger and rage. Consumption of Aspartame causes these same symptoms in non-diabetics as well. Documentation and observation also reveal that thousands of children diagnosed with ADD and ADHD have had complete turnarounds in their behavior when these chemicals have been removed from their diet. So called 'behavior modification prescription drugs' (Ritalin and others) are no longer needed. Truth be told, they were never NEEDED in the first place! Most of these children were being 'poisoned' on a daily basis with the very foods that were 'better for them than sugar.' It is also suspected that the Aspartame in thousands of pallets of diet Coke and diet Pepsi consumed by men and women fighting in the Gulf War may be partially to blame for the well-known Gulf War Syndrome. Dr. Roberts warns that it can cause birth defects, i.e. mental retardation, if taken at the time of conception and during early pregnancy. Children are especially at risk for neurological disorders and should NEVER be given artificial sweeteners. There are many different case histories to relate of children suffering grand mal seizures and other neurological disturbances talking about a plague of neurological diseases directly caused by the use of this deadly poison.' Herein lies the problem: There were Congressional Hearings when Aspartame was included in 100 different products and strong objection was made concerning its use. Since this initial hearing, there have been two subsequent hearings, and still nothing has been done. The drug and chemical lobbies have very deep pockets. Sadly, MONSANTO'S patent on Aspartame has EXPIRED! There are now over 5,000 products on the market that contain this deadly chemical and there will be thousands more introduced. Everybody wants a 'piece of the Aspartame pie.' I assure you that MONSANTO, the creator of Aspartame, knows how deadly it is. And isn't it ironic that MONSANTO funds, among others, the American Diabetes Association, the American Dietetic Association and the Conference of the American College of Physicians? This has been recently exposed in the New York Times. These [organizations] cannot criticize any additives or convey their link to MONSANTO because they take money from the food industry and are required to endorse their products. Senator Howard Metzenbaum wrote and presented a bill that would require label warnings on products containing Aspartame, especially regarding pregnant women, children and infants. The bill would also institute independent studies on the known dangers and the problems existing in the general population regarding seizures, changes in brain chemistry, neurological changes and behavioral symptoms. The bill was killed. It is known that the powerful drug and chemical lobbies are responsible for this, letting loose the hounds of disease and death on an unsuspecting and uninformed public. Well, you're informed now! Please print this out and/or e-mail to your family and friends.

Game Playing......

Last night, October 29th, I did my first games on the site. It was a lot of fun and I think the people who did participate had a good time. We did the scavenger hunt and some word scrambles. Would like to do more of a variety next round but need a bit of input on what folks enjoy playing. I just picked last night as a trial game time. Will come up with a permanent night/nights when I figure out when everyone else is doing there's. I don't like to over run the others because I don't think that is good practice amongst the other websites that have worked just as hard to get their fan base. Anyway, just wanted to let everyone know that I did give it a whirl and had a good time. I will be doing it again soon so hang around and see what develops!!!

Liking and Disliking a Page just for a Prize.....

I know that we cannot control who likes a page and who doesn't but I just lost one off of my page and it got me to thinking that maybe I have done something wrong. We do giveaways that will interest our fans. Sometimes you don't win but to me that is no reason to dislike a page and if you read in the instructions it clearly states that you can't and shouldn't do this. I just don't think that it is right to do that to a person. Deep down it actually hurts when a person does this to us. We work so hard to try and bring to you what might interest you as well as keep you coming back to our page. If we do not have what you are looking for then maybe it would be nice to contact the owner of the page via the contact tab on the left and let them know why you are disliking their page so that they can take care of the problem and fix it for the next person that comes along to check out the page. Some of you may feel this is inappropriate but I just feel that it is something that everyone is afraid to say. I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings or lose anymore fans so I just ask that if you would like to see something else on my page or see something less than please let me know because I am here for you as well as myself. I love all of my fans/friends and it truly does hurt when I lose one!!!

Great Books on Sale.....

Good Morning Ya'll. Just got through posting a lot of good books on my Facebook page that are more than half price. Hope you will take a look at them and take advantage of some of them just as I did. I continue to grow my collection of books. Books can take you to many different places around the world and I guess that is one of the reasons I love to read so much. I especially love the Amish books if you haven't already noticed that.  I love their simple lives they live and how everyone just pitches in to help without even being asked or told. I wish my life were that simple at times. Anyway, I hope that you will enjoy these sales that I found and take advantage of them. Many thanks to all my fans. God Bless. Breast Cancer Awareness Month....

As everyone knows October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month so in honor of this month I had my hair done today and had pink added to it to show my support 24/7. I am hoping that there will be a lot more people out there showing there support whether it be in your hair, around your neck or wrist, a shirt, pants, shoes or even a jacket. I would just like to see a lot of pink this month no matter where I go. I am a firm believer in trying to support or bring awareness to as many causes as I can. Make sure you get your mammograms done yearly and by all means if you feel something isn't right then have it checked out. Don't wait until your next appointment; make a special one right then and have it checked out. Early detection is the best thing in any case. I am posting a picture of my pink hair in support for Breast Cancer and keeping all you lovely ladies in my prayers. Love and Butterfly Hugs Always :)))

September 29th.......

49 years ago on this day my Mother gave birth to a healthy little girl. She named her Vicki Darlene Rodgers. At the time I had one older sister and she just thought the world of me. Over the years Mama has told me many stories of my childhood but unfortunately I can't remember them. You see some where along the line of growing up God decided that I needed a little bit of something to deal with so I have Fibromyalgia Syndrome, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Chronic Pain Syndrome, IBS, Arthritis, Migraines, Depression, Anxiety and Endometriosis. I have learned a very good lesson from all of this. I will not complain about my life anymore, Good Lord willing. I have two amazing sons who have grown up to be wonderful men. I pray that they will not complain about what they don't have and never ever scream out at God cause it can only make things worse. I have a wonderful daughter-in-law as well as a handsome grandson. I love my family and it has taken God to help me see all that I was missing. I am thankful today to have God in my life along with all of my wonderful internet friends and family. They have helped me see more and understand what I am going through and I love each and everyone of them for that. As I come to the end of this day I just want everyone to love and appreciate everyone in their life cause you never know when something is going to happen. You see one year ago on the 25th we lost a nephew in an awful car accident and then without thinking they buried him on the 29th which is my special day to rejoice and enjoy it but as I sat here today all I could think about was that young man and the way his life had ended. I pray he knew Jesus and is in heaven watching over us but you just never really know. It has been an emotional day for me for that reason. If something like this should happen again would you just please promise me you won't have a funeral on my special day? I never thought it would bother me but it does. I don't blame anyone for this mishap because God has been with me all day to help me through it. If you don't believe in God then maybe it is time that you went down on bended knee and had a little chat with him. It is amazing the peace you will feel afterwards. I love everyone in my life because God has put you there for a reason. I'm just sorry it has taken me so long to understand everything. Love and Butterfly Hugs :)))

The Joys of Winning......

Tonight I actually participated in an online Book Discussion/Party. Never had heard of anything like it and at first I was quite overwhelmed. Seemed that everyone was talking at once and you had to keep refreshing your page so that you could try to keep up but even then you still missed out on a lot of what was being said. Suzanne had trivia as well as drawings for several other things. To make it legit everything was done by email and had nothing to do with Facebook which I thought was great. Anyway, to make a long story short I won a book. A Lancaster County Christmas by Suzanne Woods Fisher. I never figured I would win anything since I was so far behind on a lot of what they were talking about but I guess I got just enough in and at the right times. Of course I really don't know how they determine who gets what or anything but I was just tickled cause I had won. I don't win often so this is a big deal to me. It is a wonderful book and I hope that all of my readers will eventually purchase it or possibly win it at some point in time and read it. I know you will enjoy it as I will. God Bless. Love and Butterfly Hugs :)))))

The Book Series That I Read This Past Week.....

It has been a while since my last blog. It has been crazy for me with going back and forth to the doctors and then I fell last week and have been having problems with my hip but it will heal in time. Anyway, we are here to talk about books and I just got through reading a very good series that I would recommend to each and everyone of you if you love reading about the Amish as I do.

The Series is "Ada's House" and the author is Cindy Woodsmall. Cindy is a good author and has several out there that I have read.

The first one is entitled A Hope of Refuge and is about Cara. She was raised in foster care and now a widowed single parent, New Yorker Cara Moore struggles against poverty, fear, and a relentless stalker. When a trail of memories leads Cara and her daughter, Lori, away from the city toward an Amish community, she follows every lead, eager for answers to mysteries from her past and a fresh start. She quickly discovers that Dry Lake, Pennsylvania, is no place for an outsider. But one Amish man, Ephraim Mast, dares to fulfill the command he believes that he received from God-”Be me to her”- despite how it threatens his way of life. Ephraim’s sister Deborah is fearful of the strange Englischer woman causing turmoil for her family, but she keeps focused on the marriage and home she longs to begin with Mahlon Stoltzfus. Her dreams are threatened when Mahlon begins behaving oddly, withdrawing, and causing concern for Deborah and Mahlon’s mother, Ada. Will the run-down house that Ada envisions transforming unite them toward a common purpose-or push Mahlon away forever? As Ephraim is torn between trying to do what he believes is right and the requirements of his community, he risks losing everything, including a developing friendship with the guarded single mother. And he knows that long-held secrets about her family history ripple beneath the surface of Dry Lake-secrets with the power to tear apart the home Cara is desperately trying to find.

The second one is entitled The Bridge of Peace and is about Lena. Headstrong schoolteacher Lena Kauffman finds herself at the center of controversy in her Amish community when a young man in her classroom refuses to submit to her authority. As her friends and family rally around her, especially longtime friend Grey Graber, things go from bad to worse when Grey’s wife, Elsie, becomes an accidental target in trouble meant for Lena. As the present unravels around them, each must find their own way through their private pain in order to find peace and a brighter future.

The third book is entitled The Harvest of Grace and is about Aaron and a newcomer to the area by the name of Sylvia Fisher. Although Sylvia Fisher recognizes that most Old Order Amish women her age spend their hours managing a household and raising babies, she has just one focus—tending and nurturing the herd on her family’s dairy farm. But when a dangerous connection with an old beau forces her to move far from home, she decides to concentrate on a new start and pour her energy into reviving another family’s debt-ridden farm.
 After
months in rehab, Aaron Blank returns home to sell his Daed’s failing farm and move his parents into an easier lifestyle. Two things stand in his way: the father who stubbornly refuses to recognize that Aaron has changed and the determined new farmhand his parents love like a daughter. Her influence on Aaron’s parents could ruin his plans to escape the burdens of farming and build a new life.
Can Aaron and Sylvia find common ground? Or will their unflinching efforts toward opposite goals blur the bigger picture— a path to forgiveness, glimpses of grace, and the promise of love.

Wonderfully great series. Hated to see it come to an end but it was a wonderful one to read. If you read this or have already read it then leave a comment and tell me what you thought of the series. Love and Butterfly Hugs :)))
